The Croatian version of the interactive self-paced e-course e-Service-Learning for more digital and inclusive EU Higher Education systems that has been developed as part of the e-SL4EU project was piloted at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb in the computer room of the Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on June, 12th 2023.
Fifteen academic teachers and lecturers from the University of Zagreb, VERN’ University of Applied Sciences, Catholic University of Croatia, Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development of the University in Osijek and Zagreb University of Applied Sciences took part in this event.
Participants were presented with the key characteristics of e-Service-Learning (e-SL) and instructional design. They were able to browse the e-course in the MoD platform (https://mod.srce.hr/course/view.php?id=487), use the tools in the e-course, and they received the Manual on methodologies and procedures for the e-SL training course to learn how to engage their students in e-SL projects and how to teach other teachers to adopt e-SL with the emphasis on inclusion.
The e-SL4EU project and the online course E-društveno korisno učenje were jointly presented by Nives Mikelić Preradović, full professor and Tomislava Lauc, full professor with tenure, representatives of the University of Zagreb in the e-SL4EU team.
