Final Conference e-SL4EU in Katowice (Poland)

On October 25, the Faculty of Theology at the University of Silesia in Katowice hosted an international conference: “Transformative Learning through Service: A European Perspective on e-Service Learning”, dedicated to summarizing the achievements of the international e-SL4EU project. The event brought together members of the project consortium, external partners, students, as well as academic and research staff from collaborating universities.

The conference program comprised three thematic sessions, during which the core concept of e-SL (e-Service Learning) was discussed in detail. Presentations addressed its potential applications in higher education, its role in fostering collaboration between universities and external stakeholders, and the insights gained from the project’s implementation. Additionally, the outcomes of evaluations conducted throughout the project were presented, highlighting key findings and areas for further exploration.

The accompanying workshops provided a practical dimension to the conference, offering participants valuable guidance on designing and implementing e-SL projects. These sessions facilitated the exchange of expertise and best practices, ensuring that participants could integrate these insights into their future academic and professional endeavours.
